An Britain’s engineer in Abu Dabi faces jail on insulting Islam. This haapen when he asked his colleagues, “when will we finish the damn Mosque?” During his appeals to the court he said that he didn’t mean to insult the Islam.
He works in Abu Dhabi’s municipality as an engineer, he was assigned work of creating gardens around the mosque. He said due to lost in temper as the work was moving slowly such words came out, he also said that he respected Islam as well as UAE, and didn’t mean to insult Islam. Decision on his appeal will be made on 7 February.
