Today the Indian couple living in Norway reunited after almost 3 months with their children. Anurup and Sagarika Bhattacharya finally met their children in Norway today. This meeting started at around 2.30pm according to IST and continued for around 2 hours.

This meeting of parents was watched by Norway’s Child Welfare Protective Services and children’s uncle also attended this meeting.

Children’s Father Anurup Bhatacharya said, “The meeting was really good, we saw that Abhigyan was quiter than before and Aishwarya was smiling after she saw us.. Abhigyan sat on my lap and hugged me.. it was the hug that we have been missing for the last three months.. we got him some Indian food which he likes… “ Children’s mother said, “I just hope Abhigyan and Aishwarya is given to my brother-in-law  soon in India.. we just want to see them again.. we pray to God  our that we get children as soon as possible.”

Norwegian Child Welfare Services had placed the couple’s two children under foster care in May last year, alleging abuse and negligence. They will be seeing their kids for the first time in 3 months
