After a TV sting showing IPL players discussing “spot fixing and underhand payments to player from franchises” BCCI President Srinivasan said,” would not tolerate any violations of regulations  or any act of corruption”.

The IPL General Council will meet and review the entire footage. 5 players were caught on camera confessing spot fixing including Team Hyderabad pace T Sudhindhra formerly of the rebel ICL.

The players also reportedly said that Franchises paid them much more under the table then the official amount which is a maximum of Rs30 Lakh for a cricketer yet to play for India.
